Northwest Earth Institute The Sanctuary often provides courses in conjunction with the Granite Earth Institute, which is part of the Northwest Earth Institue. This website describes many of the offerings, including "Voluntary Simplicity" and "Menu for the Future." Eckhart Tolle One of the Sanctuary's most popular offerings has been a book discussion of Eckhart Tolle's book, "A New Earth." Members have met either daily or weekly in an open spiritual practice to attempt to understand and implement in their individual lives the important principles illuminated in the visionary book.
